It's called fleabagging, a dating trend that consists of all the worst relationship habits we could think of. From falling in love with the wrong person to sticking around with someone who is extremely toxic, this dating trend is probably your worst nightmare.

Either you have already heard of this dating trend or you must have watched the popular series ‘Fleabag’, where a young beautiful woman constantly falls in love with men who are absolutely wrong for her. Fleabagging is therefore the harmful cycle of falling in and out of love with the same person that not only makes you emotionally damaged but also keeps you stressed about your decisions.

So if you are still in a relationship, where there is no love or respect and you feel more emotionally drained than loved, then you’re sure fleabagging. Now is the time you come up with a plan and let it all go, before it takes a toll on you and your mental health. Here are some of the ways you can get rid of such toxic relationships.

Understand the difference between love and dependency

Many times we misunderstand dependence for love. Love is when you feel happy to be around your partner. It is the butterflies in your stomach that makes your heart flutter. But when you are with someone who makes you emotionally dependent on them then it’s just a matter of time when you realize the toxicity of your entire relationship. So learn to differentiate between what you love and what you need.

Give yourself some time

Sometimes, all you need is a little time off or a break. Constant dating makes a person dependent and emotionally unstable. Therefore, you should take some time off of your dating experiences and instead focus more on yourself. You can also engage in solo adventures or make some plans with your friends and family.
