Ajay Devgn fans can rejoice as Rohit Shetty is keen to start 'Golmaal 5'!

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty are a winning actor-director jodi who have churned out hit franchises like ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Singham’. While fans have been eager for the fifth installment in their comedy series ‘Golmaal’, here’s some exciting news about it. According to Mumbai Mirror, Rohit Shetty has decided to start work on ‘Golmaal 5’ as soon as he has wrapped ‘Sooryavanshi’.

Akshay Kumar starrer cop drama ‘Sooryavanshi’ features Katrina Kafi as the leading lady. The much awaited action entertainer was scheduled to hit the screens in March, just before the lockdown was announced. With that film delayed, Rohit Shetty seems keen to wrap up ‘Sooryavanshi’ and plunge into his hit humour series.

Apparently popular writers and directors like Anees Bazmee (‘Welcome’, ‘No Entry’), Raaj Shandilya (‘Dream Girl’) and Farhad Samji (‘Housefull 4’) are being approached for comedy scripts. Seems like Bollywood filmmakers are waiting for the lockdown to end and spread some cheer in theatres.
