Michael Jordan's Custom Chicago Estate Listed for $14.9M USD
The 56,000 sqft. property comes with a regulation-size basketball gym.
by Eric BrainMichael Jordan has listed his Chicago estate on the market for $14.9m USD, dropping the price considerably from its original $29m USD asking price.
The recent re-evaluation comes after the documentary The Last Dance took the world by storm, giving an insight into the basketball player’s illustrious career. This property has been on the market since 2012, but has now seen more interest following the documentary’s release.
Jordan’s house is situated in Highland’s Park, Illinois. He reportedly chose the location for its privacy and that it was close to his practice facilities and the express freeway. The estate measures at 56,000 sqft. and features a number of references to its owner — from the “23”-emblazoned front gates to the Air Jordan logos dotted around the property.
It sits on seven acres and comes fully furnished alongside landscaping with evergreen trees, a forest preserve, a circular infinity pool, a putting court, a fish pond and more. Inside you’ll find nine bedrooms, 15 full bathrooms, 14 half-baths, and a 14-car garage, as well as a regulation-size basketball gym, card room, game room, cigar room (with air filtration), wine cellar, and a workout room.
