Spice Girl Geri Horner and Gary Lineker become Celebrity Supply Teachers

by

Ed Balls, Geri Horner and Gary Lineker are all going back to school as celebrity supply teachers…and we already can’t for the chaos to ensue.

In Celebrity Supply Teachers (a show that, quite literally does what it says on the tin), the stars are trying their hand and giving back to the younger generation.

Spice Girl Geri will be leading a creative writing class (because, they don’t offer classes on being a pop star right?), Ed is going to try his hand at being a history teacher and Gary (of course!) be saying hola to a Spanis class, because of course.

Also joining in on the fun are Glee star Matthew Morrison’s classes on musical theatre, The Chase’s Mark Labbett teaching us all about multiplication and division, because maths wasn’t already intimidating enough, right?

Certainy seems like an entertaining day of school to us!

Speaking about the new show, Gary said: ‘”I am delighted to be involved with CBBC’s Celebrity Supply Teacher series.

‘Learning Spanish when I moved to Barcelona in 1986 was good fun. It helped me then and ever since. Enjoy the experience. It’s exciting!’

On its debut on 8 June, the show will be available to watch on both CBBC and BBC iPlayer.

Aside from teaching a class on writing books, Geri Horner also recently had a re-tread of past glories as she made her iconic Union Jack dress once again…this time out of a tea towel.

Match of the Day star Gary also recently hit the headlines as he donated two months of his £1 million salary to the British Red Cross.

Celebrity Supply Teacher comes to CBBC and BBC iPlayer on 8 June.
