Perth College Degree Show held virtually amid lockdown restrictions
The Perth College Degree Show is this year being held online amid the current lockdown restrictions.

Students’ work can be viewed by members of the public through a virtual guided tour, which mirrors individuals walking through a gallery.
The show will remain online, with works updated on a weekly basis until the end of June.
Viewers will be guided through the show and will be able to read information on the piece.
Information is also provided on the student who created each piece, including details of their ambitions for the future.
Viewers can also click on any of the images to view them in more detail.
Lecturer of Visual Communications at Perth College UHI, Lesley McKee said the show brings together works created on a range of platforms, and encourages students to work outwith the typical “disciplinary boundaries”.
She said: “The BA (Hons) Visual Communication and Design, Degree Show 2020 showcases a selection of work produced by our third and fourth year students.
“Visual communication is by definition, unrestrictive.
“In keeping with this the programme does not attempt to produce designers determined by traditional disciplinary boundaries.
“The Degree Show 2020 encompasses a broad range of skills such as video, illustration, graphic design, animation and strategic design process.”
Many of the artworks on show relate to local organisations and causes.
These illustrate the developing links between Perth College UHI.
The degree show was supported by a range of Perth and Kinross organisations including the Scottish Crannog Centre, Growth Mindset Yeti, Plus Perth, and the Perth and Kinross Council Development Team.
The Scottish Crannog Centre worked alongside student, Gareth Truesdale on his graphic novel recounting the Scottish folklore of the Kelpie.
Director for the centre, Mike Benson said: “The collaboration between our story teller and Gareth will enable us to connect to a more diverse audience.
“It will allow our objects from 2500 years ago to tell the story of those amazing crannog dwellers.”
