No online classes by private schools: Minister

Chennai: Tamilnadu School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan today said private schools in the State should not conduct online classes for students.

He also warned that action would be taken against schools if they are found indulged in online classes.

The Minister further said that action would be taken against those schools which collect fees during lockdown. “A committee has been formed to give recommendation on easing syllabus since schools will be reopened late,” he said.
