Kaduvetti Guru’s family members attacked

Chennai: Family members of former president of Vanniyar Sangam and leader of PMK Kaduvetti Guru were attacked last night.

Sources said that Guru’s sister son Madhan was injured during the attack while trying to protect the former leader’s son Kanalarasan.

“Madhan was later admitted to the Thanjavur government hospital. Kanalarasan sustained minor injuries,” sources added.

Meensurutti police are investigating the motive behind the assault. On hearing news about the attack, Guru’s mother suffered heart attack and has been admitted to the hospital, it is said.

The attack has been made a time when the family has been making various allegations against PMK leadership.
