Did Katrina Kaif always know about Alia Bhatt's plan to marry Ranbir Kapoor? This throwback video seems to say so

A throwback video from 2014 has been doing the rounds online that sees a 21-year-old Alia candidly revealing her master plan to marrying Ranbir, who she always harboured a crush on. Spilling the beans on Karan Johar’s chat show, the actress opened up about the first time she spoke to her crush after watching ‘Rockstar’ and all the “rubbish” she ended up telling him.
She went on to say that Ranbir was the most gracious and simply said, “That’s very nice, Alia.”
Although their first call didn’t go as well as she’d expected, she said that they hung out a couple of times and admitted, “I still think he is adorable and I still want to marry him.”
Surprised at her confession, Karan asked the beauty if Neetu Kapoor was aware of her plans to which she simply said, “Oh God!”
When probed further and asked if Katrina Kaif (who was then in a relationship with Ranbir) knew about her grand scheme, Alia coyly said, “Everybody knows my plan because I have gone on record and said it. I am very open about it, except for Ranbir, I don’t tell him.”
“In front of Ranbir, I’m like ‘whatever’,” she said.

Having a good laugh over Karan’s comment about ‘playing hard to get’, she brushed it off saying, “I don’t think Ranbir is trying to ‘get me’ for me to play hard to get.”
Who would have thought that merely a few years down the line the two would start dating and would now be planning their wedding?
Besides wedding buzz, Alia and Ranbir have had fans patiently waiting for the release of their film ‘Brahmastra’ that is currently slated for a December 2020 release.
