ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A fun virtual event planned for Friday, May 29 could also help you give back to a Tampa Bay area business.

Great Explorations Children's Museum in St. Petersburg will host a virtual adult game night.

The museum closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It since adapted to virtual education to still keep kids minds working.

Museum officials now want to get parents involved.

"We just designed this as a way for the community to connect and kind of have some fun. We're gearing this more towards adults so we can give the parents some fun, too," explains Madeline Stone, Marketing and PR Manager at Great Explorations.

Great Explorations gave us a sneak peak with a virtual at-home scavenger hunt.

The games start Friday at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Pre-registration is required and the costs is $25. The money will go back to the museum to ensure it can continue to operate.
