When Karisma Kapoor & Raveena Tandon Ended Up Hitting Each Other With Their Wigs In A Catfight

Well, they were seen together in Andaz Apna Apna and the entire film unit was tired of their catfights and tantrums.

Rajkumar Santoshi’s Andaz Apna Apna is a cult entertainer starring Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon in pivotal roles. When the film was released, it didn’t do great at the box office, but over the years have become a classic cult comedy and has a massive fan following now.

In one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan, filmmaker Farah Khan back in 2007 revealed about nastiest catfight she has ever witnessed and mentioned that it has to be Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon’s while filming Sanjay Gupta directorial debut, Aatish: Feel The Fire (1994).

Farah said, “I was once doing a song with Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, long ago, in a film called Aatish. They were both having some kind of teenage spat. They were hitting each other with their wigs.”

“They were wearing these wigs with plaits and beads in it. One was hitting, the other was stamping her foot with her heel. It was quite childish. I am sure they will laugh about it now,” she added.

Well, they were seen together in Andaz Apna Apna and the entire film unit was tired of their catfights and tantrums. Talking about the same Raveena Tandon told IANS, “The boys tried to bring Karisma and me together. In fact, in the climax, there’s a scene where Karishma and I are tied to a pillar. Rajji said, ‘We won’t untie you unless you talk to one another.’”

But now, the two actresses are on good terms and have been friends for a long time.
