PlayStation Asia Announces Call Of Duty: WWII As June’s Free PS Plus Game; Downloadable Now

by

PlayStation Plus subscribers know that the free games every month usually get announced at the end of the month before. They also only become available in the month itself. PlayStation Asia is doing things a little differently this time around by announcing the first free title first. Call of Duty: WWII is not only part of the June lineup, it’s also already available for download.

Released back in 2017, Call of Duty: WWII was the last game in the series to feature the historical war. Set around the Battle of Normandy, the game focuses around a 1st Infantry Division squad of the Allied forces. It’s also one of the few games in the series to not have regenerating health, and players have to manage it using health packs instead.

For now though, PlayStation Asia has yet to announce the second PS Plus game. According to its Facebook page though, the second free game for June will be announced later in the week.

At any rate, you can head to the PlayStation Store to claim Call of Duty: WWII first. With this setting the precedent, it’s likely the second PS Plus game for June can also be downloaded before the month itself begins.
