He recently engaged in a live conversation with football star Sunil Chhetri where he opened up about his career, childhood, and Deepika. Talking about the time when he was busy wooing his ladylove Deepika, Ranveer recalled that he would buy lots of flowers for her. Elaborating further, Ranveer also went on to say that he felt that Deepika was way out of his league so he would do everything during the courting period to impress her. He also added that six months of being in a relationship with her, he knew that he wanted to marry her.

Ranveer also credits Deepika for the success in his career. According to him, Deepika is much more evolved than him. She has not only guided him but has been a pillar of strength for Ranveer. Ranveer felt that he wouldn’t have been able to cope with the pressures of being a movie star if she wouldn’t have been there.
