Fasade veteran lawyer, journalist dies - The Nation Nigeria

The death has occurred of a veteran lawyer and journalist, Pa Oladipo Sunday Fasade.

He passed away on May 15, 2020 at his home in Lagos. He was 86.

Fasade was born on September 24, 1933 in Ilesha in the present Osun State to the family of the late Ajibola Fasade and the late Princess Dorcas Omolayole Fasade (nee Adekanye, from the Oyiyo Ruling House of Ijero-Ekiti).

He attended University of Lagos (UNILAG) from 1966 to 1969, where he studied Law and later attended the Nigerian Law School from 1969 to 1970 and was called to the Bar in 1970.

Prior to attending UNILAG, he had spent 12 years working as a journalist and was a sub-editor and later a sports writer with the Daily Times of Nigeria.
