ACT Policing arrest three men during alleged Garran burglary
by Kathryn LewisThree men have been arrested during the alleged burglary of a Garran unit complex.
ACT Policing arrested the three men after they were called to the complex at 3.30am Wednesday morning.
One of the men was allegedly found in possession of methylamphetamine estimated to be worth more than $5000.
Two of the men will face charges of aggravated burglary and going equipped for theft, as well as two counts of property damage.
The third man will face charges of aggravated burglary, going equipped for theft, property damage and trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis.
All three will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
As part of their "Outsmart the Offender" campaign, police are reminding residents to report suspicious activity by calling ACT Policing Operations on 131 444 if they believe a crime is in progress, or 000 in an emergency.
