Exactly two years ago, controversial Member of Parliament for the Assin North constituency, Kennedy Agyapong, stated that investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas was ‘going too far’ with his expose of corrupt officials in the country.
He made the statement on Net 2 TV in reaction to Anas’s ‘Number 12’ documentary which uncovered corrupt practices within the Ghana Football Association.
“Watch things well ooo, when the judge’s issues came, we didn’t say anything. Today he has reached the GFA. Tomorrow it will be me and you. Even when you are sleeping with your wife in your bedroom, he would come ooo. Let’s watch things well,” he said.
Ironically, Kennedy Ayapong is currently exposing without limits the deeds of some ‘fake men of God’ in the country, including the popular Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim.

Tough-talking Member of Parliament for Assin North, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has given the strongest indication yet, that, the yet-to-be premiered expose by an acclaimed investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has sent shivers down the spines of not only those said to have been captured, but every tom-dick-and-harry who is Ghanaian, including him.
Even though snippets of the episode, titled, “Number 12”, indicates that the piece centers on Football and politics, Hon. Agyapong thinks that, Anas is “going too far” and must be checked before he starts filming people, even when they are in bed with their wives.
Speaking on Net 2 Television, the legislative icon and businessman said, “Nyantakyi, the truth must be told, spoke too much, but first of all, let me state my position”.
“Honorable, you are here, Minister, do you think Anas has the right to do what he is doing, do you think so?” He asked the Minister for Inner City and Zongo Development, Hon. Boniface Abubakar Saddique who was a co-panelist on the programme.
Adding, “watch things well ooo, when the judge’s issues came, we didn’t say anything. Today he has reached the GFA. Tomorrow it will be me and you”.
“Even when you are sleeping with your wife in your bedroom, he would come ooo. Let’s watch things well” He said.
“Is this allowed”? He asked emphatically.
