Health Update: Confirmed Covid-19 cases in Namibia now at 22
by Charmaine NgatjiheueNamibia has reported another positive Covid-19 case, bringing the total cases to 22.
The 63-year-old patient is in a critical condition and is on a ventilator at a Walvis Bay hospital.
Health minister Kalumbi Shangula made this announcement at the Covid-19 communication centre in Windhoek this morning, and said the patient had been on a fishing vessel that had returned from the Democratic Republic of Congo to export products.
