4 new coronavirus cases in 3 Premier League clubs
by BeSoccerThe Premier League tested 1008 players, coaches, and staff between Monday and Tuesday, and the results have produced 4 new cases, shared out amongst 3 teams.
The first rounds of tests took place between the 19th and 22nd May. There were 1774 tests then in two batches, with 6 positives in the first one and two more in the second one. This third round, which took place between the 25th and 26th May, increased the number of positives to twelve in total.
These 4 new positives are shared out amongst three teams, according to the official statement from the Premier League, although without revealing names nor anything which would identify them. The Premier transmits this information in the interest of transparency.

Like on previous occasions, the four new positives will have to be isolated from the rest of the squad, and be quarantined for one week.
Four rounds of tests are scheduled, in which the number of available tests for clubs will be increased to 60.
