VIDEO: Karim Benzema scores his final Lyon goal

Karim Benzema scored in his final Lyon match before heading to Real Madrid.

Karim Benzema began his career at French side Lyon and his final game for the club was a league match v Caen back in 2009. 

Lyon took the lead in the 36th minute thanks to a Juninho penalty before Sidney Govou made it 2-0 20 minutes from the end. Steve Sadivan pulled one back for the visitors 12 minutes later before Benzema, then 21, in his final Lyon game, sealed the points for the hosts in the 86th minute. 

The now Real Madrid man scored 66 goals and got 23 assists in 148 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.
