Exhibition after exhibition from Davies

The Canadian continues to leave football fans and experts stunned by his football. A player switching positions has never worked out so well.

Bayern Munich beat Borussia Dortmund and left the Bundesliga all but wrapped up. 'Der Klassiker' was decided by fine margins.

And Bayern Munich's quality squad proved to be the difference. On the left flank, Alphonso Davies stood out once again. The Canadian continues showing game after game that he has everything needed to be considered one of the best players in the years to come.

Davies, who began as an attacker, has been converted into a full back by Hansi Flick and this decision could not have worked out better. He continues to get into the opposition area and he uses his physical strength in defence.

Although he did not get into the opposition box so much against Dortmund, he was impeccable once again. He prevented Haaland having a chance with a superb sprint and he was always there in his own box in defence.

The Canadian ran faster than 35 km/h to prevent the Norwegian having a chance. In just three days, he showed that he can attack and defend. Last Saturday against Eintracht Frankfurt, he was a whirlwind in attack and scored a goal and an assist in the 5-2 win for Bayern.

On Tuesday, Davies excelled in defence as Borussia Dortmund were unable to break down a well ordered Bayern defence.

At 19, there is the feeling that the former Vancouver Whitecaps man will keep on getting better. Bayer Munich will certainly be happen with the 10 million euro signing they made just over a year ago.
