144 at all quarantine centres

The Gajapati district administration on Monday imposed prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC near all temporary medical camps (TMCs) and quarantine centres to prevent gathering of locals and possible untoward situations over facilities.

Gathering has been restricted within100 metre radius of the facilities. No person would be allowed to enter the areas without permissions from concerned officials.

Strong action would be taken against the violators, said Collector Anupam Saha.

On Monday, the district reported six positive cases. With this, the total number of cases in the district rose to 10.
