Palamu SP visits check posts, rural areas
by PNSSP Palamu Ajay Linda visited check posts in rural areas where the pedestrian hungry and thirsty get food and water. On Monday Linda was at Chando ( notorious for communal disturbances), Bansdeeh ( infamous for migrants’ sneaking in) and Osaney where a multi-crore road bridge is coming up and his mere presence without shouting at his men in uniform there saw food and water for the poor.
“I saw 10 people in spotless white sitting too close in a shop at Chando. My vehicle stopped and I inquired from the owner as to how 10 people were so sitting too close.
The 10 people were by then on their sprint. I did not shout at the shop owner but told him in icy tone do it again and you will be jailed,” said Linda.
Linda said at Bansdeeh check post cops had food ready for two dozen people as now with intensive police check migrants are not walking down on rural roads nor are taking cross country routes.
At Osaney where a multi crore road bridge on the river Koyal is coming up Linda said cops did intercept two people who were the men of the notorious JJMP outfit’s Mahesh Bhuiyan who gave a slip.
“Cops did good work here although Mahesh Bhuiyan managed to give a slip to us. There is no point in shouting down at the cops. Shouting does not make arrests of extremists,” he said.
