Salesman held for killing wife

The Delhi Police has arrested a 37-year-old salesman in national Capital for allegedly killing his wife. Police said that the accused killed his wife after he got frustrated with his marital life.

The accused has been identified as Sudhir, a resident of Anand Parbat. Police said that the accused has also lodged the false missing report of his wife.

According to Sanjay Bhatia, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Central district, on Saturday around 10 pm, Sudhir, his children and his relatives lodged the missing report of his 33-year-old wife at Anand Parbat police station.

"During investigation, police got suspicious after analysing the call detail records of the complainant and his wife. He got interrogated where he confessed his crime. He said that he strangled his wife to death and dumped her body in Narela IFC jungle area," said the DCP. 

"Thereafter, the body of the woman was recovered from Narela area in decomposed state. Interrogation revealed that the relation between the husband wife was not good and they used fight often over petty issues," said the DCP.
