Man misbehaves with quarantined woman

A man allegedly misbehaved with a woman at a quarantine centre at Daringbadi in Kandhamal district late on Sunday night.

According to reports, 29 returnees from other States, nine women, 19 men and a baby, were kept at the BR Ambedkar College quarantine centre at Daringbadi. The accused, a resident of Hatimunda panchayat, allegedly misbehaved with the woman while she had gone to attend nature’s call in night.

The woman appraised the local sarpanch about the incident on Monday morning and lodged a complaint with police. Cops have started investigation into the matter and detained the accused for questioning.
