C’garh sees record single day spike in Covid-19 cases

The coronavirus infected persons are increasing in Chhattisgarh consistently. The state recorded the biggest single day spike on Tuesday with 68 fresh cases.

With this, the active number of Covid-19 cases in the state rose to 281. Mungeli is till now the worst affected district. It again reported the maximum number of 27 cases, taking the number of patients from there to 70.

The rest of the cases detected on Tuesday were from Bemetara (13), Rajnandgaon (12), Balod (6), Kanker (4), two each in Bilaspur and Jashpur and one each in Balrampur and Surajpur.  

Patients taking treatment in the state are admitted at AIIMS, Raipur (49), Covid Hospital Mana, Raipur (70), Covid Hospital, Bilaspur (41), Medical College Hospital Ambikapur (21), Medical College Hospital, Raigarh (12) and Medical College Hospital Rajnandgaon (34).

No coronavirus related casualty has been reported from the State so far.
