Major administrative surgery in C’garh

The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday unleashed a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring and posting 55 IAS officials including 22 District Collectors.

According to an order issued by the General Administration Department, Additional Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain (IAS, 1989 batch), who was ACS Finance and also ACS Public Works Department (PWD), has been relieved from the charge of PWD. He gets the Water Resources Department as additional charge.

The Principal Secretary (School Education), Dr Alok Shukla (IAS, 1986), had been assigned the additional charge of PS Skill Development, Technical Education, Employment and Training.

ACS, Skill Development, Technical Education, Employment and Training, Renu G. Pillai (IAS, 1991) has been relieved from her charges and assigned the charge of ACS Medical Education. She will remain the Director General CG Administrative Academy.

The Secretary Medical Education, Health and Family Welfare, Niharika Barik Singh, loses Medical Education and holds on the charge of Health and Family Welfare.

The Principal Secretary, Commerce, Industries and Public Enterprises, Manoj Kumar Pingua (IAS, 1994), has been assigned the additional charge of Resident Commissioner of Chhattisgarh Bhawan, New Delhi.

Dr Maninder Kaur Dwivedi, who was the Resident Commissioner, will continue to keep her other charges.

Secretary (Cooperatives) R. Prasanna has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Women and Family Welfare, as well as Skill Development Department.

Siddharth Komal Pardesi loses the additional charge of Secretary, Women and Family Welfare.

The Secretary (Urban Administration), Alarmelmangai. D, has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Technical Education and Employment.
