Rs 24.50 Cr released from CM Fund for districts

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has released a total of Rs 24.50 crores to all the districts to fight the coronavirus pandemic. The money was released from Chief Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, officials said on Tuesday.

The Chief Minister’s office said Raipur, Baloda Bazar, Rajnandgaon, Kabirdham and Bilaspur districts got Rs 2 crores each. Mungeli got Rs 1.5 crores. Bastar, Korea, Balrampur-Ramanujgunj and Surajpur received Rs 1 crore each while Gariaband, Dhamtari, Mahasamund, Durg, Balod, Bemetara, Kondagaon, Kanker, Dantewada, Sukma, Narayanpur, Bijapur, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh, Jashpur, Surguja and Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi got Rs 50 lakh each.

Earlier, Rs 2 crores was released from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to 11    districts. Another Rs 25 lakh each was given to all the districts also recently, officials said.
