EastEnders spoilers: Characters to face grave danger in gun horror after discovery

EastEnders has hinted at deadly scenes on the way next week, leaving more than one character in grave danger.

Ben Mitchell may be in serious trouble, as his desperation to step up to impress dad Phil goes horribly wrong.

The character, who is in a fragile state leading up to a special episode entirely from his perspective, doesn't realise the danger he is in until it's too late.

Next Monday sees a point of view episode following Ben, as he remains determined to help Phil with his dodgy dealings with gangster Danny Hardcastle.

Despite Phil telling his son he can't get involved, he soon makes a discovery and finds himself at he location where they are meeting.

Ben has been struggling after losing his hearing in the boat crash earlier this year.

He's more eager than ever to impress his dad despite his condition, which puts him even more at risk where Danny is concerned.

Earlier on in the episode leading up to the big event, he clashes with pals Lola Pearce and Jay Brown.

He's upset when Phil kicks him off the job because of his hearing issues, but also because he presents him with a gun.

Ben has a row with Lola over his suspicions about her fling with Peter Beale, almost being hit by a car in the process.

Jay later tells him about her abortion and that she'd said Ben was the reason, leaving him furious.

After tracking her down at the salon he drags her outside, and forces her to confess she had slept with Peter leading to a huge clash between them.

Drowning his sorrows, he soon sees Danny and Phil leave for the job but is alarmed to notice a van following them.

Fearing something isn't right, he takes Gray Atkins' car from The Arches and speeds off to the warehouse to find out what is happening.

But as he arrives he soon finds a gun pointed right at him, and he panics as he makes a major discovery.

It's not long before events quickly grow out of control, but will everyone survive?

EastEnders airs Mondays at 8pm, and Tuesdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
