realme leap to next with 8 new products including a smartphone, TWS earbuds, smart TVs and more
The day has finally come! realme's highly-anticipated event has happened today in both China and India. As promised, the company has launched eight new products including the realme X50 Pro Player Edition, realme Buds Q, realme Buds Air Neo, realme Watch, two variants of power banks (realme Power Bank 2 and realme 30W Dart), realme Smart TV, and a realme backpack. Now, let's find out what features and specs that all the products offer!
realme X50 Pro Player Edition
The realme X50 Pro Player Edition houses more gaming-centric features and tech specs compared to the regular realme X50 Pro. It still has a Snapdragon 865 chipset with 5G connectivity, a 6.44” AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, and a combination of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage. Other than that, there is also a 4,200mAh battery which realme's CMO Xu Qi Chase said that it will go from 0% to 100% in 35 minutes.
Furthermore, the device now comes with HyperBoost 3.0 that allocates all the memory, chipset, and battery power to bring better gaming experience. Therefore, you will not be having any redundant notifications, background-running apps, and have your location services turned off while gaming. The feature will also allow the device to switch between Wi-Fi to LTE or 5G with zero lag. Last but not least, they have added graphite sheets between the battery and the back panel as well to help dissipate the heat, which prevents the device from turning into a toaster.
However, you will be losing some of the camera features from the standard X50 Pro if you're going for the Player Edition. The main 64MP has been replaced with a 48MP module, and the telephoto lens has also been taken away for a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, the 32MP + 8MP ultrawide lens combination has been replaced with a 16MP sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
The realme X50 Pro Player Edition will be available in two colours which are Light Speed Silver and Phantom Black. It will be sold at the price of 2,699 Yuan (~RM1,650) for 6/128GB variant, 2,999 Yuan (~RM1833) for 8/128GB variant and 3,299 Yuan (~RM2,017) for 12/128GB variant. Besides that, the company has also launched a not-for-sale special anniversary Realme X50 Pro version and will be gifted to special fans who have been following raffles and other activities.
realme Buds Q
Next, the realme Buds Q has also been launched and it is a pair of true wireless earbuds designed by Hermès co-designer José Lévy. The Buds Q are IPX4 rated to withstand water splashes, come with advertised 20 hours of combined battery life, and support Bluetooth 5.0. Each bud weighs 3.6g and the total weight (with the case) is 35.3g. The Buds Q drivers are 10mm and the case supports 30W fast wired charging. However, the pair doesn't come with wireless charging and it will be sold at the price of 129 Yuan (~RM78) in China.
realme Buds Air Neo
The realme Buds Air Neo is being offered as a cheaper variant compared to the realme Buds Air, but still has some slightly upgraded specs. It will come with a larger driver at 13mm compared to the previous 12mm. The Buds Air Neo will also offer up to 17 hours of combined playback (3 hours on the buds themselves), Bluetooth 5.0 with 119.2ms latency, and Instant Auto Connection with a realme smartphone.
However, the reasons that might pull you back from buying one would be it doesn’t have a wireless charging option and Environment Noise Cancellation while the realme Buds Air has. The realme Buds Air Neo will come in three colours which are Green, Red, and White with a price of 270 Yuan (~RM165).
realme Watch
The long-awaited realme’s first smartwatch has been launched today at the event as well. From what we know from the rumours, the realme Watch has a design that resembles the one from Apple Watch. It comes with a 1.4-inch Touchscreen display with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top, IP68 rating, and up to 12 pre-installed watch faces.
Other than that, the realme Watch also has a feature called 24/7 Health Assistant. It includes a real-time heart-rate monitor, blood oxygen level monitor (SpO2) and is able to track 14 types of sports activities. The realme Watch is available with strap in four colours that are Black, Red, Blue, and Green. It was being announced at the event held in India and it will be priced at 3,999 INR (~RM229).
new realme power banks
Other than smartphone and TWS Earbuds, realme has also announced two power banks to power up all your devices. The realme Power Bank 2 has a capacity of 10,000mAh and supports 18W two-way charging. It has one USB-A port and one USB-C port. Another one will be the realme 30W Dart power bank which has a capacity of 10,000mAh and can both give and receive 30W of wired charge. The realme Power Bank 2 is priced at 109 Yuan (~RM66) and realme 30W Dart is priced at 199 Yuan (~RM121).
realme Smart TV
The smart TVs from realme will be available in two variants which are 32-inch and 43-inch. For the tech specs, the 32-inch realme Smart TV has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels (HD-Ready) while the 43-inch variant has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (full-HD).
