Peter Okoye, one of the members of the PSquare group, has lent his voice to the debacle between his brother, Jude Okoye, and Nigerian Singer Cynthia Morgan.

In a tweet he made on Sunday, May 24, the singer said that he took the decision to take his music away from the family because of freedom and not for money, fame, or power.

He said it was a sad thing that she rejected the contract he offered her when he was leaving, saying the family record label made her see him as the odd one out.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Music boss, Jude Okoye of Northside Inc Label, finally spoke about the allegations that were leveled against him by the Cynthia Morgan about the inability to use her name.

Jude said that there is nowhere in the world where a court will grant the taking away of a person’s birth name, saying the name Cynthia Morgan is not just a brand name but the name her parents gave her.

The music executive made this known in Instagram live chat he had with Tunde Ednut, adding that move to change her stage name was her decision alone, something he was against.

“I don’t understand, if she has a contract where it is stated like that, she should bring it so we can see. The one I have here is not different. How can I hold her name, which court can grant it?

“You want to do things on your own because you think you can do things on your own, then you failed and you want to put the blame on me," he said.

In the almost one hour live session, Jude said that the singer was still in control of her social media accounts two years after she left the record label.

He said that despite all that, she still went ahead to blame him for her failure, wondering if that is what would shoot her into the limelight again.
