PD: Bicyclist hit, killed after collision near Pima and Happy Valley roads

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Scottsdale police say a bicyclist has died after being struck by a vehicle Saturday morning.

Police say they were dispatched to a car vs bicycle collision near Pima and Happy Valley roads at around 8 a.m.

Officers believe 48-year-old Miodrag Milovanovic was heading east on Happy Valley Road when an SUV, also heading east, crossed over the fog line and struck him.

When officials arrived on scene they transported Milovanovic to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officials say impairment is not believed to be a factor in this collision.
