McKedys to present outdoor concert at Arcadia Round Barn

ARCADIA — The McKedys will bring a live session of Morning Music to the Arcadia Round Barn from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
The loft and restrooms are now open every Friday through Sunday, and concerts are held outdoors on the north side of the barn. Members of the Arcadia Historical and Preservation Society are working on a plan to safely re-open the downstairs museum, which has been closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The McKedys is a family band from McLoud comprised of Bryon McKedy on guitar, steel guitar and vocals; his daughter, Mackynsie, 16, on fiddle and vocals; and his son, Austin, 13, who sings and plays guitar, mandolin and harmonica. Their music is a family friendly mix of traditional country, Western swing and bluegrass.
Morning Music sessions are held every Saturday at the barn. Elm Tree Concerts are from noon to 3 p.m., one or two Sundays a month through September.

The Round Barn is six miles east of Interstate 35 on historic Route 66. Admission to the outdoor concerts is free, but donations are accepted. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to help maintain social distancing.
