Here are your Manchester City evening headlines for Monday, May 25.

City could have ‘four new signings’ by the end of football break

Pep Guardiola is set to welcome a number of players back from injury when the Premier League returns.

City’s title challenge had been derailed due to fitness issues for a number of key players this campaign but these returns could see a strong finish to the campaign.

Leroy Sane had missed the entire season with knee ligament damage suffered in the Community Shield but is close to full fitness once more.

Aymeric Laporte has missed all but seven matches with knee and hamstring trouble and is back in training.

Meanwhile John Stones and Benjamin Mendy have both had injury-hit campaigns and will be close to first team contention by the time action resumes. You can read more on the boost of the returning quartet here.

CAS provide update on Champions League ban appeal

Manchester City’s appeal over their two-year ban from the Champions League will not be viewed by the public or media following an update from the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

City were handed the ban after UEFA found they had broken Financial Fair Play rules, but the club maintained their innocence and launched an appeal.

The appeal is due to be heard between June 8-10 but CAS Secretary General Matthieu Reeb has told MEN Sport restrictions are likely to be in place for the hearing.

"Due to the current travel situation and restrictions on entering Switzerland, a full in-person hearing is very unlikely.”

"Neither party has requested a public hearing. It will not be possible for the media to view the proceedings."

“It is not possible to predict at this time how long this process will take."

Fans unimpressed with rumoured new kit

Manchester City fans have been reacting to another ‘leaked’ shirt for next season.

The club has signed a multi-million pound ten year deal with Puma to kit from next season, replacing Nike who had been with the club since 2013.

The internet has been awash with a number of mocked up efforts reportedly set to be shirts for next season, with the latest navy blue third kit doing the rounds.
