Police hunting thug after early morning attack in Glasgow city centre at Christmas

POLICE are hunting a thug after an attack in Glasgow just before Christmas.

Officers are investigating an assault in the city centre around 3.30am on Friday December 20, 2019.

Anyone who recognises him is urged to get in touch with police

And they have now released photos of a man they are trying to trace in connection with the incident.

He is described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, with a medium build and short, dark hair.

At the time of the attack, he was wearing a light grey woollen coat, pastel coloured shirt and dark jeans.

Cops have urged anyone with any information on the attack, or who recognise the man, to get in touch.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow Division’s Public Protection Pro-active Unit officers at Govan police station via 101 quoting incident number 0530 of 20 December, 2019.
