Psy.P, member of emerging Chinese rap group The Higher Brothers, has released a music video for his latest single “Bad Habits.” The single is part of Psy.P’s debut album PSYLIFE.25.

The video showcases Psy.P’s brooding and emotional lyrics, as the rapper belts out details of a love/hate relationship. “Bad Habits” refers to the in and out of sentiments involved with being famous and wanted, while still being drawn to a past relationship. “Breaking up is the commonplace/ It’s too hard to be separated/ Being insecure because I’m too famous/ Pretty girls are always around me/ Follow us to make money/ You started to declare war on me/ I can only step back and take my dignity/ The sadnesses are haunting around,” raps Psy.P. The rapper has been quoted to draw inspiration from rappers like Lil Wayne, which can be apparent in his rhythm and tone.

The visual, directed by upcoming director HAONAN, not only stars the talented rapper, but also two young Chinese dancers Chenyi Wang and Panpan Li. The music video and single is promoted by collective 88Rising, who also support Asian music talents Rich Brian, Melo, Joji and more.
