EastEnders' Charlie Brooks shares rare pictures of her 'inspirational' daughter

EastEnders star Charlie Brooks is one proud mum, as she dedicated an adorable Instagram post to her daughter Kiki.

The actress normally keeps her family life rather private, however, it seems she was having all the feels and shared a string of rare pictures of the 15-year-old onto her social media account.

Giving fans an insight into their relationship, the photographs spanned from when Kiki was just a baby, all throughout her childhood, to a relatively recent selfie.

‘This is the biggest of love bombs for my daughter Kiki,’ the soapie said alongside her post.

‘Lest she ever forget just how much I love her. I’m proud of you every day. My strong, independent, inspirational occasionally challenging not so little girl.’

After sharing a kiss, the 39-year-old then wrote the hashtags: ‘lovebomb #daughter #love #grownupnow #motherdaughter #mentalhealthawareness #proud #teens #teenagers #15.’

Fans were quick to comment and couldn’t help but coo over the adorable snaps.

‘Awww this is cute. My daughter is 14 and we do everything together, she’s my best friend,’ one wrote while another added: ‘She is so alike you ! It must be like looking back in time of yourself if that makes sense.’

Someone else felt the same, and wrote: ‘Beautiful. She is so like you. Sisters.’

Charlie co-parents her daughter with her ex Tony Truman, who she has remained close friends with.

Just last year she spoke about their set up on Loose Women and how she sometimes find raising her bambino ‘lonely’.

‘Sometimes I do feel like I’m going mad. It’s not her fault,’ the Janine Butcher star confessed.

She went on: ‘She’s 14 and she’s fiercely independent which I encourage. We put them out there and we want them to be strong but blimey it’s lonely sometimes.

‘As they get older, you say goodbye to your little girl and hello to this new person. You have to let the leash go which I’m struggling with a little bit.’

The star added: ‘I do struggle and I do cry and I do make mistakes and that’s okay. I don’t like crying in front of her but sometimes I do and I’m not perfect.’
