As A Business Man, I May Start Cultivating A Weed Farm Soon – Stonebwoy Reveals

Multiple Award-winning Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has disclosed his intentions of going into weed farming after the government of Ghana legalised it recently.

According to Stonebwoy in an interview with Accra-based Hitz FM, as long as the government is regulating the use of the herbs in the country, it will be a profitable venture to go into.

”Once the government has legalized the use of marijuana, lots of people will start venturing into it….The government will not just commercialize the export of marijuana…. they did it because they know how viable it is so as a private businessman if I look at it and it’s Profitable why not?” he disclosed.

Recall that Ghana legalized the use of cannabis for health and industrial purposes, after Parliament passed the Narcotics Control Commission Bill, 2019 on Friday (March 20, 2020). This decision by the government got a lot of reactions from celebrities like, Samini, Ras Kuuku among others who have been pushing for its legalisation for a while now.

In his final statement, Stonebwoy advised the public especially the youth to use the herbs for medicinal purposes and not abuse it as it can be detrimental to their health.
