Piers Morgan shared a throwback picture of himself with his youthful dad and fans were left baffled by Glynne's good looks.

The Good Morning Britain host, 55, was seen standing with his dad and his daughter Elise, eight, in a picture shared to mark Glynne's birthday.

Glynne is not Piers' biological father - the telly star's dad died when he was 11 months old and Glynne became his step-dad when he married his mum Gabrielle.

The newsman captioned the snap by saying he's disappointed not to be able to share the special day with the rest of the family and would settle for a Zoom chat tonight.

Piers wrote: "Happy Birthday to my Dad, who looks younger than me every year.

"This pic was taken in St Tropez last year, where we would all have been again this week, doubtless celebrating with a long lunch in Club 55.

"Instead, we’ll have to settle for a Zoom chat later... c’est la nouvelle vie."

Fans couldn't believe how young Piers' dad looks and many insisted they look more like brothers than father and son.

A third wrote: "Your Dad? Wow! He doesn't look old enough. Happy birthday to him."
