General Hospital revisits Nurses Ball episodes this week

General Hospital fans are enjoying the first week of completely throwback episodes in place of new material.

The ABC soap has had to pause production due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the show’s bosses have picked key episodes from the vault for viewers to revisit in coming weeks.

First up is the Nurses Ball episodes from 2014 and 2015, which are full of original music, dance performances and plenty of drama.

Here which episodes will be airing each day this week:

Monday’s episode originally aired on May 18, 2014 and it kicks off with an unexpected interruption during the opening number and includes a surprise proposal!

Welcome to the Nurses Ball is performed by Epiphany Johnson, Elizabeth Webber, Sabrina Santiago and Felix Dubois And there’s a special performance of Willkommen from Cabaret by Dr. Liesel Obrecht.

Tuesday’s episode originally aired on May 9 2014 and sees Luke & Tracy take the next step in their relationship while Spencer convinces Nikolas they have to attend the Ball.

Musical performances include Pink’s Raise Your Glass by Kiki Jerome and Friends, as well as You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth by Meat Loaf, performed by Eddie Maine.

There’s also I Am What I Am by Jerry Herman, performed by Luke Spencer, and a striptease to AC/DC ‘s You Shook Me All Night Long performed by Magic Milo & the Magic Wands.

Wednesday’s episode originally aired on May 12, 2014 and sees Spencer beg for another chance with Emma.

Britt tells Nikolas she still loves him while Scott tells Lucy she made a mistake picking Kevin.

Musical performances include Brokenhearted by Karmin, performed by Brad Cooper and I Love It by Icona Pop, performed by The Haunted Starlets, as well as the original song performance Criminal Love by Eddie Gomez, among others.

Thursday’s episode – which aired on May 1, 2015 – sees Brad proposes to Lucas, while the truth about Ric and Hayden’s connection is revealed.

Musical performances include the original number Welcome to the Nurses Ball performed by Epiphany Johnson, Elizabeth Webber, Sabrina Santiago and Felix Dubois, 

With 99 Red Balloons by Nena, performed Dr. Liesel Obrecht and Marry You by Bruno Mars performed by Brad Cooper.

Friday’s episode – which aired on May 5, 2015 – sees Duke takes a hit out on Jordan.

Spencer gets a surprise visit from a loved one while Elizabeth pleads with Nikolas to keep the truth about Jason between them.

Musical performances include Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Queen, performed by Eddie Maine and It Might Be You by Stephen Bishop, performed by  Damien Spinelli.

Plus the original song You’re Not Alone performed by Epiphany Johnson and Sabrina Santiago.
