The former Watford forward joined the English giants on a short-term loan deal in January, and was expected to leave at the end of the season.
However, the coronavirus outbreak saw that football being placed on hold in March, leaving Ighalo's future in Manchester fairly uncertain.

The Nigeria international is on loan at United from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua, who are believed to want the striker to return ahead of their campaign's restart in June, which has been delayed since February.
According to Manchester Evening News, it is therefore unlikely that Ighalo will be given permission to extend his stay at United.
