UPDATE 9 AM 5/26/2020
No major changes Tuesday morning as an area of low pressure moves northeast over Central Florida headed toward the Atlantic. The National Hurricane Center is giving this a low chance of developing in the days ahead. Upper level winds, land interaction and dry air are still forecast to inhibit further development.

FIRST UPDATE 6 PM 5/25/2020

NHC is keeping a close eye on broad area of low pressure over Florida that will move into the western Atlantic in the coming days. It has a LOW chance to develop into a tropical system over the next 5 days as it moves off the FL Coast and northward toward the GA coast and the Carolinas. We will continue to monitor the system, but besides more rain chances on Tuesday, it should have no significant impacts on our sensible weather this week. Upper level winds are NOT favorable for any further development of this system.
