Jemele Hill Calls Out ‘Cowardice’ of NFL Owners For Blackballing Colin Kaepernick (TWEET)

Jemele Hill was one of several people who did not like the NFL’s official website putting Colin Kaepernick’s status as something he clearly was not.

The Atlantic staff writer took to Twitter and not only chastised the league for putting Kaepernick as ‘retired’ their website, but called NFL owners for blackballing him out of the league.

I guess this was easier than writing, “currently not playing because our owners blackballed him out of cowardice.”

Later Friday, Kaepernick was listed as “UFA/San Francisco 49ers” (unrestricted free agent) on this NFL.com player page.

The 32-year-old hasn’t played in the NFL since late in the 2016 season.
