Emergency services at the scene after collision on the A92 in Fife

Emergency services attended a road accident on the A92 in Fife.

Two vehicles were involved in a collision on the southbound carriageway between Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath.

The collision happened at around 3.30pm on Monday.

One lane of the carriageway was closed, resulting in tailbacks.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Emergency services are currently dealing with the report of a two car road traffic crash on the A92 near to the Cowdenbeath interchange. The road at the scene is closed at this time.

“There are no indications on injuries at this time.”

The road was fully reopened at around 5pm.
