Everett shooting leaves 1 man dead Sunday night
It happened in the 6500 block of Beverly Lane, police said. Another man has been taken into custody.
by Herald StaffEVERETT — One man died in a shooting in Everett Sunday night, according to the Everett Police Department.
A man in his late 20s died at the scene, in the 6500 block of Beverly Lane, Lt. Robert Goetz said.
The alleged shooting happened around 10:40 p.m. After, multiple calls came into 911 reporting the sound of gunshots.
Police talked with one witness when they arrived, Goetz said.
A man in his mid-30s has been taken into custody. Both the suspect and the victim lived in Everett and are believed to have known each other.
“This is not a random act,” Goetz said.
There are no other suspects, police said.
