After COVID-19 delay, Nokia 8.3 5G should be launching very soon

The Nokia 8.3 5G was announced as the company’s first 5G smartphone a few months ago. Unfortunately (and in large part to the current COVID-19 pandemic) there’s been a pretty big delay on availability of the phone. Nokia declined to reveal any details about when you could actually get your hands on their latest phone, so we were left in the dark.
Now we’re finally getting some word from Nokia about when the Nokia 8.3 5G will go on sale.

During its unveiling in March, Nokia said the phone would be available sometime in the summer for €599. We’re getting pretty close to the summer, and Nokia is ramping up their social media efforts to hype the device back up to launch levels.
The account also mentions that the phone will be “soon available.” That’s not concrete just yet, and summer lasts awhile, so we’re still working with a general timeframe, not a specific date. But if we’re close to that launch window and Nokia is ready to start talking about the phone again, you can bet this will come sooner rather than later.
