Teams are only allowed to bring 80 staff at season start 2020

New rules will determine how the races will be held without spectators. The staff of the teams will be kept to a minimum in order to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus. According to RaceFans.net, teams will be limited to a maximum of 80 people within the circuit between the start and end of a closed event. This was previously indicated by the chairman of the medical committee Gerard Saillant.
Of these 80 people, no more than 60 will be allowed to carry out direct work with the two cars of the team. The same restriction also applies to events with spectators. More people may be present who are involved in sponsorship, marketing, safety and transport.
Probably no fans in Europe
The FIA and Liberty Media will decide which rounds will be considered closed events. These are expected to include the two opening races on the Red Bull Ring and all subsequent European races. President of Formula 1 and CEO Chase Carey said earlier this month that he hopes Formula 1 will be able to welcome fans again in the latter part of the year.
