If there’s one thing that has been keeping people going during lockdown, it’s having a project to work on.

Many people have been turning to DIY jobs and home makeovers while social distancing and there have been some seriously impressive transformations going on.

One woman recently got a huge reaction when she posted a set of before and after pictures of her kitchen makeover, which she managed after stocking up on products from Wilko and Amazon.

Laura Baxter has transformed her kitchen for £170 and it looks completely different.

After posting pictures of the new look in the Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas Facebook group, nearly 1,000 people commented on the contemporary revamp.

Laura wrote: “Another kitchen transformation! I’ve wanted to do this for so long, so pleased we did! A new kitchen for £170!!!!”

She even shared which products she used and explained how she did the work. The cupboards were transformed using paint and primer from Wilko and she bought new handles off Amazon.

The worktop was also repainted to give a bright new look, and a floor stencil was used to completely update the look.

People were seriously impressed by Laura's efforts, with one person commenting: "Oh wow that looks amazing.. love the floor and especially the cupboards".

Another added: "Looks so light now well done amazing."
