Met Office weather forecast for next 10 days

It's been a scorching start to the week in Nottinghamshire with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures - and the rest of week has a similar forecast.

The mercury was set to reach highs of 23C in the city by 4pm on bank holiday Monday (May 25) as people flocked to beauty spots, garden centres or even just their back garden for a BBQ and picnic.

In more eased lockdown restrictions, people in are now allowed to travel anywhere in England for exercise as long as they maintain social distancing.

But despite the easing of some lockdown measures last week, people have been urged to stay away from beaches and beauty spots to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The upcoming week looks set for more sunshine and high temperatures, apart from on Tuesday when it will be more cloudy, but still 21C predicted.
