Dominic Cummings is 'tarnishing my name' says former Nottingham Forest man

by Tom LeachFormer Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings has jokingly suggested that Boris Johnson's senior adviser Dominic Cummings is 'tarnishing my name' amid allegations that he broke lockdown laws.
And the 24-year-old Scotland international, who currently plays for League One's Shrewsbury Town, has also thrown his hat into the ring to replace the Prime Minister's closest aide should he be forced to step down.
Cummings (Dominic, not Jason) is currently under fire to resign from his post in number ten after a report by the Mirror revealed that he had travelled to stop at a family home in Durham with his wife and children despite showing symptoms for coronavirus.
And if he does, former City Ground man, who uses the alter-ego 'CumDog', has joked that he is ready to replace him.
In a post on Instagram featuring the forward in his wrestling gear alongside a photo of his political namesake, he wrote: “Sick of this man tarnishing my name. It’s time he steps down and the real CumDog takes over.”
The striker made only seven Championship starts while on Trentside, spending the majority of his time with the Reds out on loan at Rangers, Peterborough United and Luton Town.
Last summer he made the permanent switch to Shrewsbury Town.
