Gogglebox viewers in stitches as Jenny gets lube and hand sanitiser mixed up

Gogglebox stars Lee and Jenny are unrecognisable in epic throwback from 16 years ago

Channel 4 favourites Lee Riley and Jenny Newby have been isolating together in Hull in order to continue with Gogglebox filming

Gogglebox's Lee Riley sent social media into meltdown after he shared an incredible throw back snap with his telly partner Jenny Newby.

The Channel 4 duo, who have been self-isolating together during lockdown filming, have a friendship that spans decades.

In the incredible vintage snap, Lee grinned from ear to ear as he posed next to Jenny on one of their cruise holidays in 2004.

Telly favourite Jenny looked unrecognisable as she donned a edgy dark brown bob in the snap and dressed in a lacy number with a simple necklace.

She was also gripping onto a bouquet of flowers.

Lee was all dressed up in a smart-looking suit for the incredible picture.

The funnyman was quick to shut down any jokes about the picture looking like a wedding photograph.

"Old photo 16 years ago of me and Jenny on a cruise taking the p**s and no before you ask we didn’t get married," he wrote in the caption.

Sharing the post with their 118,000 Instagram followers, the stars were quickly inundated with messages from their fans.

"Love you two so much x You always brighten up my Fridays," wrote one.

Another added: "Like mother like son eh."

" You two should have a show of your own! Bloody hilarious," teased a third.

Jenny and Lee's amazing throwback snap came shortly before the pair revealed they were no longer going to be living together in their iconic Hull-based caravan.

The paid had been holed up in the same caravan for nine weeks during filming, according to Hull Live.

However having finished filming, they have decided to live separately for a while.

Despite Gogglebox coming to an end, calls for Jenny and Lee to have their own show continue across social media.
