Police investigating assault in Kitchener

On Saturday, May 23, 2020, at approximately 5 p.m., Waterloo Regional Police and Waterloo Regional Emergency Medical Services responded to the area of Highland Road West and Lawrence Avenue in Kitchener for a report of an assault.
One victim was treated on scene for minor injuries after being struck by an edged weapon.
The investigation is ongoing.
